Blog 19; Senior Project and ESLRs
1. The ESLR that I think I have excelled most in this year is the communication.
2. I have to constantly communicate with the residents, as well as set up activities to make everyone happy.
3. Proof of me doing this.
Here is a picture of my Mentor, Erick Gochez, and his assistant, at a party that we put together for the facility. We had to make sure the entertainment, along with the food, was appropriate.

Blog 18: Third Answer
1. My EQ is "What is the most important factor when choosing an assisted living facility?"
2. The third answer to my EQ is the quality.
3. Three examples to justify my 3rd answer is the sanitation, staff members, the community around the facility.
4. My book, which is titled "Choosing an Assisted Living Facility, your guide to making the practical choice.", and my mentor, Erick Gochez.
5. I plan to look more into the qualifications of becoming a staff member at an assisted living facility, along with the sanitation and what not of the facility.

Blog 10: Senior Project Update
1. I am currently putting in more hours for my independent research component with my mentor, Erick Gochez.
2. An important piece of research that I have used in the past few weeks in a book that I checked out at the library. It's called "Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities", and it's a very valuable piece of research. It is giving me insight on how else to choose and Assisted Living Facility, so I can answer my EQ.
3. Pretty much through my work I've been learning on how to deal with residents, which is important because having a good relationship with staff members is a key factor in choosing a facility.

Blog 9: Working EQ and possible answers
1) The working EQ I used during my presentation was "What is the most important factor in choosing an assisted living facility?"
2) I have chose to keep my working EQ the same.
3) Some possible answers for my EQ could be what I presented in my powerpoint; Health, Location, Cost, Staff Members, and Releationships with other residents. I think the actual answer would be a combination of all five of this, and would be the overall atmosphere.

Care Giving
a. I chose my senior topic to be Care Giving because it hits very close my heart. I recently lost my Great-Grandmother to old age. She was taken care of by my mother, who is a profession caregiver, for the last 8 years of her life. I had helped with the duties for the last 3 years.
b.
iPoly Citizen: I plan to give back to the community. Helping anybody who needs care given to them is an effective way to demonstrate this.
Effective Communicator: I plan to be in contact with the people who need the care. This will make me more effective as a communicator because I have to be able to be patient, and listen to the people talking. Then I have to talk and make sure they understand what I am saying.
Effective Learner: I plan to again be in contact with people. I will learn to be patient, again, and patience is a virtue.
Effective User of Technology: I plan to keep logs of what I am doing. This requires me doing the logs on the computer, plus I have to be in contact just in case of an emergency.
